Information
Hakuba village is located in the north western region of Nagano Prefecture and is about an hour road journey from central Nagano City and Nagano Station. The local Oito train line and Route 148 road both run through the village. The Hakuba area is easily accessed from three expressways and around an hour drive from each. The Azumino IC exit on the Nagano Expressway is about 50km to the south of the central Hakuba Station area (access via Route 147 and Route 148). The Nagano IC exit on the Joshinetsu Expressway is about 45km to the east of the central Hakuba Station area (access via Route 19, Prefecture Road 31 and Prefecture Road 31). The Itoigawa IC exit on the Hokuriku Expressway is about 45km to the north of the central Hakuba Station area (access via Route 148).
Brocken Hutte is just a four minute walk from the Hakuba Happo gondola lift terminal close to the central area of Happo in Hakuba. We will come and pick you up from the Happo Bus Stop or JR Hakuba Station.
