This last week we have experienced a real heat up in Yuzawa... for a few days there it looked like it might be hotting up to close on 30 degrees! Not quite, but it sure was hot out there. Yesterday wasn't as hot and after an almost chilly overnight, today we are likely to see a temperature rised to around 24 degrees in town. Kagura, the resort remaining open, is looking at a high of around 14 degrees.

Lovely blue skies this morning and it should be fine all day. Sun again tomorrow, perhaps with more cloud.

Yuzawa Now ski lift operation notes:

Part of Kagura, via Mitsumata Ropeway, remains open. All other resorts in Yuzawa and Minamiuonuma are now closed.
