Last time I wrote a report it was rainy season... and in some ways it kind of feels like we've had a very "rainy season" for most of this year. Lots of rain and not as much sun as we usually expect for summer this year.
September wasn't as hot as we usually experience and things have generally cooled down quicker than usual.
Wonder what that means for the coming winter season!? Hopefully good things.
The first ski lifts to open in the region are always at Kagura and this time round they are aiming to open on Saturday 22nd November. The target opening date for Naeba is Saturday 13th December, and most of the resorts in Yuzawa usually try to be open from around mid December onwards -- though sometimes it gets more towards the end of December.
Anyway, still plenty of time left and we'll discuss that more over the coming weeks.
