Fine, clouding over
Very busy up at Kagura today. I did not go myself but hearing stories of some long waits for lifts, especially the Tashiro Ropeway which was running slower than normal due to strong winds. The resort themselves are saying that there was at times a 2 hour wait for the Ropeway! And Kagura resort is also saying that yesterday saw the biggest crowds of the season. That's Golden Week at Kagura for you.
No doubt today will be busy too and next weekend as well.
This morning started off fine with blue skies and the sun out but seems to have started to cloud over. It's going to be warm today and as high as 21 degrees in town. Even Kagura are expecting a high of up to 18 degrees.
Cloud is expected tomorrow and perhaps some rain as well.

While we would be hoping for nice sunshine and warm weather at this time of year, the situation today is the opposite. Temperatures have plunged more towards winter than spring and with moderate winds, cloudly conditions and some rain thrown in as well it does not look like the most inviting day outside. The good news is that there is still plenty of snow around for the last week of the season and moreover there has actually been a decent snowfall overnight on the ski area! Read more ...

Yesterday was a very fine day weather wise, lots of blue sky and a feel good spring day. Temperatures dipped to around freezing level overnight but it has quickly warmed up this morning and it's close to 15 degrees now as of 10am. The forecast predicts a high of over 20 degrees today down in the village, so it's going to be a warm day.
Mostly cloudy over the mountains but clearer and with blue skies over the village and to the east. Perhaps the clouds will disperse as yesterday.
Tomorrow there's a chance of rain and it likely won't be quite as warm.
