Snow and weather reports posted on Monday 19th February 2018

We're going through something of a wet spell at the moment.
It was rain pretty much all of yesterday - up at Kagura too - and heavy at times.
This morning it is still cloudy, a bit windy and a bit wet but hopefully things are going to start picking up sometime today and a return to clearer conditions for the weekend.
Currently it is decent weather conditions forecast for Saturday and Sunday - last two days of the season at Kagura, of course. 4 more days to go including today.
Expect things to be very busy over the weekend again as people get in that last (last) last ski or board of the season.
Here's the lifts that are operating at Kagura:
-Mitsumata Ropeway (open 8am on weekdays; 7:30am on Saturdays and holidays) -Mitsumata Number 1 quad lift -Mitsumata Number 3 romance lift -Mitsumata Number 2 romance lift (open when very busy; closed on weekdays)
-Kagura Gondola -Kagura Number 1 quad lift -Kagura Number 1 romance lift (closed on weekdays)
-Gondola course -Kagura main course -Technical course -Giant course -Kagura park
The Mitsumata area is now what they call a 'connecting area' back down to the Mitsumata Ropeway - so basically you can just use it at the end of your day to get back down to the Ropeway and base.
Until 25th May: Kagura (the main Kagura area via Mitsumata Ropeway)
All other resorts in the region are closed for the season.
