Nozawa Onsen Now!

Cloudy in valley, fine up above
An impressive looking sea of low lying early morning cloud in the valleys this morning, and the top of the mountain rising above that. With clear conditions forecast for the day in Nozawa today, that will fairly quickly probably move on but it's a sight to behold when you get the chance to see it.
So yes a sunny day is forecast with a high temp. of 18 degrees in the village.
Tomorrow should see a chance in conditions somewhat. It will be colder and we might get rain or even something a bit whiter falling from the skies. All depends on how far it cools down I suppose.

Clear, bit hazy
Got to post an early report this morning before the info is in from the resorts, so the below info isn't updated today.
After that warm day yesterday and temps dipping to around 6 degrees overnight in the village, it's already over 10 degrees now and we're going to see things warm up once again to over twenty in the afternoon. It's another bright start to the day and likely to stay sunny for the duration.
We're going to see things get colder tomorrow with rain likely overnight and temps dropping as the day goes on, might even get to be cold by tomorrow night...

It is a cloudy start to the day here in Niseko. Keeping fairly cold. It's another almost calm morning with not much wind at the moment so the lifts at Niseko Annupuri and Niseko Grand Hirafu should be open as planned this morning.
At Niseko Grand Hirafu it seems that the Spring Park is closed for a bit of maintenance at the moment. As an alternative near the King Number 1 lift the Free Ride park has 5, 6 and 8m table top and 11, 13m Step down items up and open. The Spring Park should be open by the end of the weekend or early next week.

Sunny and cloudy
It is another pleasant morning in Furano with strong sunshine breaking through the random cloud cover. It may seem hard to believe but snow is forecast throughout today and tomorrow which will once again return the resort to a true wintery feel. This has been a great snow season to date and the good conditions just keep coming.
Just a reminder that the ski area will close for the season on May 6. Read more ...
