It's a cloudy-overcast morning. Temps are forecast to rise to nearly 20C in town later on and rain is due this afternoon.

Tomorrow should be sunny.

Morning.

Quick report this morning. After the fine weather of yesterday this morning there's a southerly wind blowing and rain is forecast for later in the day.

If you do plan to be out, best to check with resorts for the latest as the wind might mess with some lifts.

There may be a chance of snow on Sunday, but don't be too upset if it is rain (which it will very likely be lower down in town).

Niseko Now!

Wednesday 11th April 2018, 8:20am
Weather conditions: Cloudy
New snowfall: 0cm
Snow depth: --
Good morning.

After some fresh fun of yesterday, it is a rather grey and cloudy and mild morning... and windy.

And it is likely to be getting windy-er still too. (I have a feeling that should be windier!)

So expect some very strong winds and almost certainly some lift disruption this morning. With rain also forecast later, it might be a good day to take a rest.

At the start of the day it looks like the Ace Family quad and Ace Number 2 Center Four lifts are moving at Niseko Grand Hirafu but the top lifts are on hold. At Annupuri, just the top Jumbo Number 4 lift is affected. If you are planning to get out today though, I would check with the resorts as the above might change.

Hakuba Now!

Weather conditions: Cloudy
New snowfall: 0cm

Morning from Hakuba.

Anyone else get to enjoy yesterday? Very nice in the morning, and warming up in the afternoon. It certainly didn't feel like approaching the middle of April.

This morning there is a lot of grey cloud around and it is a mild morning.

It's cloudy just now at the start of the day, but rain is forecast this afternoon - and possibly rather heavy rain - if the forecasts are right. So I would say an early start is recommended!

We should be enjoying a return to sunshine tomorrow.
