No new snow to report overnight in town and it is looking set to be a fine sunny day. Bright blue skies and the sun is out early on and it feels mild

Kagura is reporting 5cm of new snow and a quick look at the webcam seems to confirm blue skies up there too. A bit of a change in operations up there today though - scaling down of operations due to the decreasing amount of snow especially in the Mitsumata area of the resort. Riders will now be taken from the top of the Mitsumata Gondola to the base of the Kagura Gondola by shuttle bus.

Courses open: Kagura main gelende, Panorama course, upper part of Gondola Course.

Lifts open: Mitsumata Ropeway, Kagura Gondola, Kagura No 1 quad lift, Kagura No 1 Romance lift, Kagura No 4 Romance lift, Kagura No 2 lift.

Over at Naeba there was no new snow and they are operating the No 4 and No 5 Romance lifts today on the artificial snow slope at the bottom. (Surrounding lower courses now have no snow on them).
