It got quite mild yesterday, peaking up near 4 degrees at village level. There was also a little drizzle at times later in the day. Overnight remained mild and slightly above freezing and this morning there is still some sleety drizzle around them mountain which is snow up higher.
Overall not that pleasant at least on the lower slopes. Cooler air is on it's way which will firm things up later in the day and light snowfalls are expected over the rest of the weekend.

Moiwa base 6am: -1℃ with slight snowfall.
WNW8m/s at Benkei cape, WSW9m/s, 0.8waves and 1016hPa at Kamui cape.
Annupuri peak 6am: W8.1m/s, bad visibility.
Warm air is flowing in, snowfall is slim and no notable snowdrift development can be observed.
A moderate NW storm is forecasted to pick up above 1000m from around 11:00.
Peak gates are scheduled to open at 9:30.
The visibility is pretty bad around the peak and the snow condition is not so good either, not much changed from yesterday.
Beware of slipdrops and crevasses.
Full depth avalanche hazard is rising in steep slopes of Osawa, Backbowl, Mikaeri no sawa and Higashi-one.
Better not remain in slopes with cracks or at the bottom of the valleys.
Some more fresh snow can be expected in the coming weeks, however spring condition isn’t that bad either. More sunshine and longer days.
Seek for the ski patrol’s advice before stepping out the gates.
Stay away from strictly off limits areas.
The safety of Niseko is protected by having everyone respect the Niseko Rules.
