As with the summer typhoons that are often preceded and followed by calm weather, Niseko woke this morning to a glorious blue sky with slight snow falling early morning. There is still a bit of a wind out there in places and while nothing like the previous days, some lifts have been moving slower than normal this morning.

After yesterday where most of the lifts were shut it was a welcome sight to see much of the resort back to normal and the Hirafu Gondola up and running. Temperatures remain low but those winds have generally died down giving some very pleasant spring conditions.

Snow is still on the forecast up until Saturday - probably the last 'busy' weekend of the season, and I highly recommend you get out there and enjoy it!
