There was another big dump of snow overnight of 20cm. Looking out the window, I can see a nice thick layer on the tops of cars that were parked here overnight. Currently, there is a light snow coming down, but this is expected to stop by the afternoon.

Visibility is okay, however I can only see about two thirds of the way up the mountain. Winds are weak, expected to be around 10km. The temperature is okay, expected to hit -6 degrees with a windchill of -7. However, if you plan to do night skiing get your heat tech
/thermals on because the windchill is going to hit -23.

In regards to the runs at Naeba, the area that is to the South East of Hiuchi #1 slope is still closed. Also the Prince Gondola Lift #1 is closed.

At Kagura, the Shirakaba and Intermediate Course in the Tashiro Area, the Forestry Expert Course in the Kagura Area, and the Downhill Course in the Mitsumata Area are still closed.

Lastly, due to competitions being held, the Kagura Main Ski Slope will be fenced off from 1/11 - 1/19.

Have fun.
