Back on dry land today (great fishing in bad weather yesterday), and it is really and truly spring out there. It feels like a normal April about this time, with really warm winds and bare patches here and there up on the hill (although the lower areas are still well covered, I have to add).

Could be a nice day out therewith some good old sticky snow (we didn't really get a good freeze overnight, so it won't exactly be corn or anything super-fun like that, except maybe up higher).

The stranger thing is that the forecast will again turn to light snow for the rest of the week, as the freezing line again starts coming down the hill from late today. There was the possibility of heavy snow tomorrow, but that has faded (as has been the case throughout the season). Like I have said too often, this is one for the record books...

I notice a number of unchanged reports from yesterday; I think Ikenotaira's drop of 30cm from yesterday is a pretty honest assessment of what's going on out there.
