A bluebird day with powder; don't you hate it when that happens on the Monday after a snowy weekend? (Well, personally I prefer skiing while it's dumping down; the snow is softer, nicer and the bad weather keeps the riffraff off the slopes...). It's a perfect sunny morning, with the first view in more than a week of perfectly white Mt. Myoko, Mt. Kanna and Mt. Kurohime. Lots of snapshots being taken today as people headed up to the slopes.

Conditions are excellent, with cold temperatures and very light snow from a nice overnight fall. Backcountry conditions are also better already than the whole of last season, with small trees and bushes now bent under the snow cover. I'll add some reports after we do some test digging, too, for those who like to climb up as well as just ski down.
