It's better than we expected: a little snow on top of the stuff that looked like it could get a bit nasty and crunchy. Light rain yesterday afternoon helped bring down a lot of the heavy snow still stuck on roofs (not mine, unfortunately - watch your head when you come in!), but that also turned to light snow overnight.

So all in all better than we thought might happen.

The wind offshore is coming from the north-northwest again, a good sign of the forces bringing the next cycle of weather. We could see some rain Monday, it seems, but that also could very well turn into some heavy snow in the early part of next week. Just in time for a good reset of the snowpack!

Watch the freezing line; a lot of times it's been lower than the initial forecast, meaning colder conditions than when that 0° line is way up the hill.
