It's a sunny day with fresh snow—hard to believe it's March and not early January all over again. The forecast has the possibility of more snow through the day, and there are some clouds hanging over Mt. Myoko and the other peaks to the west.

On the less happy side, today is the final day of operations for a lot of the areas, apart from Akakan, Seki Onsen and Tangram. I'll keep updating these, because there's a lot of snow on the ground; looks like it will be a great spring ski season. Snow depths below are yesterday's report, so there is a bit more fresh than is reported.

Ski Resort Operations

Akakura Onsen:
Kumado No. 3; Akakura Chuo Triple; Yodel Super Quad. Night skiing finished for the year. Special rates for the weekend. Area to close tomorrow.
