Rain, rain go away; the end is almost here I say. Bad rhyme, but it sums up how we're feeling around here.

It's probably snowing up high, which is the one positive to this current precipitation state. D own low, though, it's going to be a tough day to be out on the hill.

Snow looks likely in the coming few days, then sunny and maybe even spring-like early next week. We hope.

Spring operations: The Myoko Kogen Sky Cable gondola and hotel No. 3 lift will stay open from March 24 until May 6, or whenever the snow runs out. Spring rates from March 24 are adults ¥2,500, junior high students and seniors ¥2,000, kids ¥1,500.

Akakura Onsen:

Appears from their website that they're open until Sunday 30th March.

Ikenotaira:

Planning to stay open until Sunday 6th April.

Myoko Suginohara:
