A great start to March, with 60cm of snow on the ground (hard to tell, really, as there was a lot of wind involved through the night).

Sorry not to post earlier, but the snow also meant I got called out to play with the heavy metal (I love little bulldozers), especially since I still need to change a fan belt on the snow thrower - which is really more convenient, but it's nice to sit and work in a warm cab).

The snow continues to fall, and it's nice and cold. Really feels like winter in Myoko. Late though it may be, it's still welcome.

Time to enjoy it, because once again we'll see the freezing line rise up on the weekend to 2000 meters or more. We keep seeing this in the 2016 season, and I hope we won't in 2017.

The word from the mountain is good, light snow up high. With all that wind - we had cornices and windloading around the house - be careful on lee slopes up there. If you don't know what I mean, time to do a little study before you go out!
