After a full weekend of sunshine, it's only expected that the snowfall returns Monday morning to top up the mountain's coverage. Over night the resort received around 5-10cm of fresh snow, while the snowfall is predicted to last on and off until Wednesday. So a lot more fresh stuff is expected for weekday riders.

With that said, visibility conditions are going to vary between average and quite poor accross the mountain. Although a good pair of goggles will aid and allow more comfortable riding throughout the duration of the day. Currently the temperature is a mild -2.0 C and will remain in the minuses today on the mountain and in the village.

Also today many of the treeland courses will be re-opened as well as well as 'the bowl' in the free ride park; now open to public. Definately somewhere to position yourself on the mountain if your looking for some entertainment.

While somewhere not to position yourself is outside of the ski area or closed courses as a neighbouring mountain has reports of an avalanche occurance last weekend. Scary, not to worry if you plan to stick to the courses.

Yesterday was the first day of the Madarao Speed Challenge event, with even Darth Vader clocking an impressive time on his ski's! Overall a thrilling event, with two more to be held on the 13th and 20th of this month.
