Good morning from Hakuba and this morning we have the sun out, light blue skies and a bit of cloud around to start the day off.

I do not know where, but a few people have apparently written in regarding somewhere online reporting 'fresh powder' this morning. Perhaps a misunderstanding or something, but please don't get your hopes up - we've had no fresh new snowfall unfortunately and so it's still full on spring mode. There's nothing wrong with that of course... but it's certainly not fresh powder!

It is actually a mild morning and probably today temperatures are going to warm up to around 18 degrees here at village base. Similar conditions are expected tomorrow as well.

There's a bit of rain (snow higher up possibly?) around Sunday night into Monday but it looks like it should be short-lived.

Have a good weekend.
