Good morning from Hakuba.

Yesterday was (too) warm and cloudy; and then later on it started raining. :(

Earlier on this morning too it was raining, but it has eased off now leaving us with a cloudy morning and also calmer than yesterday. There's a cool looking thin layer of low cloud currently hanging over the village making for some great scenery looking down from higher up.

Now we have that ridiculously warm weekend out of the way, we can look forward to a week of potentially much better weather.

As seems to be always this season, the forecasts are a bit all over the place, but the one I like to trust currently shows snow falling on Wednesday and Thursday along with a return to colder conditions. Cautiously optimistic that we'll be getting a fresh layer of snow to play in.

Before that, it's spring time. And of course spring conditions can be great fun, would just like to have them with us a bit later!
