Rain started around mid afternoon yesterday and it seems to have been raining since. There's lots of cloud down close to village level this morning in the valley and so generally I would guess poor visibility on the slopes.

Temps didn't dip much below 10 degrees overnight and we're hovering around there at the moment. There's not much of a wind either now - perhaps the stronger winds will arrive later on. The good news is that it should be getting colder later on today and we might even get some fresh snowfall overnight into early tomorrow.

Hakuba Cortina has just the Number 2 quad going today, on this last day of the season for that resort.

From tomorrow, the remaining resorts open are Happo-one, Hakuba Goryu, Hakuba 47 and Tsugaike Kogen. 47 remains the only resort still fully open though 'bushes' starting to show on lower slopes there too of course.
