1cm of snow being reported from resorts around the village this morning (up to 3cm at Cortina!), with just a dusting down in the village areas.

Encouragingly cold though this morning after that period of way too warm and currently it is around -4C as we approach 9am. It should remain under zero for the day and be colder still tomorrow.

A slight breeze and overcast at the moment - perhaps some more blustery winds later on - with what looks like poor visibility on some higher slopes.

Snow showers on and off are forecast for the day, with tomorrow and Thursday looking to be dry.

The weekend is looking very promising at the moment. Note the use of the word 'very'! We really need a full on winter storm to bring us lots of fresh.
