Good morning from Hakuba, and what a beautiful morning it was yesterday wasn't it.

By mid afternoon a thin overcast look had taken over, but it was a stunner while it lasted.

A dusting of snow on the mountains reported this morning with Hakuba 47, Goryu and Happo beating out Cortina in snowfall numbers - a full 2cm reported on their slopes overnight! ;)

Not to fear, as decent snowfall is hopefully about to happen - with snow forecast through into Sunday as the local forecast stands just now. Bring it on, I say.

It's cloudy, just a light south westerly breeze and light snowfall at the moment with a temperature of around -3C now.

---

Over at the Kita-one area of the Happo-one resort they have their 'Happo Banks The Snow Park' opening tomorrow morning with events starting at 9:30am over there. Once open it should be open (for free) until 5th April.
