There's lots of cloud around on this cold morning. Light snow showers earlier but eased off for now and just a bit of fresh snowfall being reported from around the valley - most from Cortina who have clocked up another 20cm on their upper slopes.

Some snow clouds over the mountains remain but it's somewhat clearer weather down at base and over the village. Feels like it could go either way, and local weather forecasts give us a mix of sun, cloud and snow for the day.

Quite strong winds are affecting some top lifts at Goryu and the top Grat quad at Happo. Hopefully they might get going this morning as the winds ease off.

Should be a very fine day to be out on the mountain. It will remain cold through tomorrow. Milder weather is forecast for Sunday and Monday when we might get to see some clear mountain views worthty of posters.
