The latest Hakuba Now report can be found here

It was a cloudy morning in Hakuba but with a fair bit of blue sky on show at times earlier on. As the day has moved on more cloud moving in and fairly good cloud cover now as we approach evening.... an evening which should bring with it some wet snow falling though it shouldn't last for long and tomorrow will likely start off just cloudy. Even so we will likely see the sun tomorrow and then into early next week spring conditions should be ruling with clear skies and mild temperatures probably Monday to Wednesday.

It may just be my assessment but it Hakuba generally seemed busier this weekend - still quiet compared to a normal weekend but more people coming. That's encouraging. As we have mentioned there is no damage at all to facilities here and things are for the most part open as normal. A day out on the slopes supporting the local economy may be just the ticket to get a bit of fresh air and blow away some cobwebs!
