Morning from Hakuba.

Bit of light snow falling on mountain yesterday and this morning some resorts are reporting a few cm of snow on upper areas. None at base though.

There is quite a bit of of cloud around this morning but some breaks in it and blue sky too especially as a backdrop to our beautiful mountains. Clouds will probably get less and sun should win the day. It's expected to warm up as well and further still tomorrow, perhaps rising to above ten degrees down in the village.

There's no snow on the forecasts now over the coming week, so we will have to make do with what we have - for now at least.

Early turns will be best!
