Hakuba received a approximately 10-12 cm of fresh snow overnight at the valley bottom, and as usual even more up on the resorts.

This nice dump of snow came in late afternoon and continued until late into the night. The snow is however not light and dry, but heavy and wet at the base elevation of 800m. Get higher up and the snow should be drier and lighter. Get out early to enjoy the late season powder!

Conditions on the resorts today will be powder, chopped powder, groomers and softer slushy snow at the bases where the the temperatures have warmed up a bit.

Looks like it is going to continue to snow all day today, then clear up with some sun tomorrow.
