It was a warm spring-like day yesterday in Hakuba with hazy skies rather than bright blue and white contrast. I even saw a few people in t-shirts, though I think that was pushing it somewhat!

OK so this morning it's a much more cloudy start to the day. It's raining down here at base, but snow is falling higher up on the mountains I see and hear. Hopefully as it gets colder still during the day it'll be snowing here as well... the potential for a decent amount of snow today and overnight tonight is still there so I'm looking forward to what I might have to report tomorrow morning.

Fingers crossed everyone.

The Hakuba Goryu Telecabin gondola is still closed this morning. If you wish to ride the top lifts at Hakuba Goryu, you'll need to get there via Hakuba 47 which is of course on the same ticket. There's also a shuttle bus going between Escal Plaza at Hakuba Goryu and the base of Hakuba 47 if you need to get from one to the other.
