Today the day started with a heavy downfall of grainy snow, which by mid-morning will turn to rain. The forecast is predicting that the rain will continue throughout the day, making conditions on the slopes slushy. The rain will be adding to the 10cm of fresh snow on the slopes, sadly making the day very wet and cold.

On the slopes you can expect a mixture of powder, chopped powder, slush and compacted powder. Temperatures will be getting much higher today with a max of 5 degrees, tomorrow we will see a drop in temperature again, causing the rain today to freeze and causing instability within the snow pack.

The wind is quite high this morning, but will be calming down later in the day, with moderate winds throughout the weekend. On Sunday we can look forward to another clear and sunny day.
