All but the lower areas of the mountains covered in cloud and fog this morning - very poor visibility in some places at the moment.

Continuing on from yesterday afternoon, it has been raining this morning but it seems to be easing off and that's what the forecast tells us to expect as well with cloudy conditions for the rest of the day. Might even get to see some sun. We'll almost definitely get to see lots of the sun tomorrow with another sunny and warm day forecast, and more of that on Saturday as well.

The Freestyle mogul competitions are on at Hakuba 47 again today. Personally I don't like moguls at the best of times and try to avoid them, but watching these folk negotiate them - in not the best of the conditions as well - is really fun. Gambatte kudasai!
