Good morning from Hakuba on this last Sunday of February.

Snow conditions may not have been top draw, but the weather was fantastic yesterday. A real stunner with a fair bit of cloud hanging around again - especially in the morning, less so in the afternoon - with lots of blue skies and sunshine too.

Resorts this morning are reporting dustings up to a few cm of snowfall at higher elevations.

This morning a bit more grey cloud added into the mix but it's a fairly similar kind of picture with a mix of blue skies, cloud and sunshine.

The forecast tells us to expect a bit of snow later on and then perhaps a few days more of sunnier skies. Decent snowfall should be back with us later in the week.
