A fair bit of cloud casting some large shadows on the mountainsides this morning, though there's still lots of blue sky and the sun at times. Forecasts tell us to expect warm temperatures again today, around 12 degrees later on. Cloud forecast tomorrow with rain in the afternoon and it won't be quite as warm.

Bring your best t-shirts for around Friday though because the warmth is about to take another step upwards, with freezing levels rising to over 3000m.

Someone asked us about this - snow cover on the mountain is good, lower slopes included. There's a few patches here and there but close to 100% good still. With the warmer temperatures taking hold now it probably won't be long before we start to see more brown than while on the lower areas of course...
