No new snow this morning but temperatures dropped right down to around -8 degrees in the village overnight so it was a really cold one. It will soon be around zero though and we'll see a high of around two degrees a bit later on today.

It's a cloudy morning but fairly bright with some blue sky on show and some appearances of the sun.

Snow is still forecast to be falling later on in the day tomorrow with a chance of perhaps up to 20cm or so on the upper slopes going into the weekend.

Resorts are still very quiet - get out there and have it almost to yourself!

Official snow depths and operations @ Thursday 24th March AM:

Hakuba Goryu
Toomi No 2 lift is closed on weekdays.
Alps No2 and No4 lifts are closed.
No nighta.
Alps daira - 285cm;
Toomi - 125cm;
Iimori - 90cm.

Hakuba 47:
All lifts except Line D lift operating, some courses will remain ungroomed.
Snow depth (upper) - 200cm.

Happo-one:
Largely open and the Gondola is now operating again. Shirakaba area closed.
No nighta.
Usagidaira/Kurobishi - 220cm;
Sakka - 90cm;
Shirakaba - 90cm;
Nakiyama - 60cm.

Tsugaike Kogen:
Most of the resort is open though the Gondola/Ropeway are not operating.
Snow depth - 295cm
Maruyama area - 125cm
Champion - 190cm

Hakuba Iwatake:
The Iwatake Gondola will be closed for the rest of the season.
Upper - 165cm
Lower - 120cm

Hakuba Cortina:
Resort is mostly open.
Upper - 330cm
Lower - 185cm

Hakuba Sanosaka:
115cm

Hakuba Minekata:
Resort is now closed for the season.
