I wrote the report earlier and then my computer decided to play up just as I was about to submit it... so this is a re-write! Hopefully I can recreate what I had written first time round.

OK so yesterday was generally a very warm, wet and foggy (in places; at times) kind of day. I was over at Iwatake and there was a clearer period mid afternoon, but some thick fog in the morning. Very spring-like unfortunately and snow conditions have inevitably taken a hit from the rain and the warmth. I heard a resort guy saying it was like May... I think he was half joking! It certainly was a day to quickly move on from though.

Today shouldn't be quite as warm, though it is still +2C at base here and a high of about 6 degrees likely down in the village. The day has started off just cloudy and mild.

Looking forward things are looking more encouraging. Higher up on the mountains we will hopefully be seeing decent snowfall Thursday Friday and then late weekend. Down in the village it might be more borderline so we'll just have to see.
