Good morning from Hakuba.

Anyone spot Santa yet? I hear he has been spotted at a number of resorts around the valley. Don't know how gets around so many places so quickly.

After lots of sunshine during the day yesterday, there is a lot more cloud around again this morning though visibility is generally pretty good. A grey-silver look to proceedings though the sun is breaking through in places. Perhaps it will clear up for the day. Definitely feels fairly mild.

OK Santa, we could do with some fresh snow. The good news is that it's due to be with us later tonight and that sustained snowfall -- and heavy snowfall at times -- looks inked in for this coming week. We should be in for some nice deep conditions in a few days time. I sure hope so and look forward to reporting it to you soon.
