Good morning from Hakuba, where it's a sunny start with just some white cloud here and there - but mostly sun. Around 0C at 9am, and forecast to warm up around 7C.

Looks like that warm up is going to start from today and continue through the week. It's going to be real t-shirt and sunscreen weather and you might even need your air-conditioner in the car!

Here's some news from Hakuba Goryu (and Hakuba 47), who plan to be open in some capacity until Tuesday 6th May:

Open until Monday 31st March:
Iimori Number 1 pair
Toomi nighta

Open until Wednesday 2nd April:
Iimori Cosmo Four lift, Milky Four lift, Iimori No6 pair lift

Open until Sunday 6th April:
Toomi Sky Four lift, Toomi No2 pair lift
(Though you will be able to ride down to base until snow allows, even once these lifts close).

Open until Tuesday 6th May:
Top area of Goryu and Hakuba 47, who will gradually close lower areas as snow dictates!

Happo-one and Tsugaike Kogen also plan to be part open until 6th May.
