Morning from Hakuba.

There's no new cm of snow to report this morning though yesterday morning it was snowing at times, though it didn't really end up with any new cm. It kept very cold though and snow conditions up on the mountain kept good.

This morning it is a grey start to the day and it's keeping very cold. Earlier on my thermometer said -7C; it's at -5C now. I see that Hakuba 47 were reporting a temperature of -13C earlier on too. Wrap up well!

There is a lot of cloud around at the moment but visibility on the slopes looks generally decent everywhere.

Snow is due later on today and overnight into tomorrow there's a good chance of a decent amount falling too. Tomorrow might also see strong winds as well, so keep that in mind and an eye on the forecast early tomorrow morning if you plan to be here. Let's hope the wind doesn't mess with Sunday plans.

Less snow is lined up on the forecast from Tuesday onwards - perhaps some clearer skies and sunshine - and so let's all look forward to a lot of fresh snow over the next 48 hours. While resorts are enjoying much better conditions than they were in lower areas, we could still do with a lot more snow.

---

I have added any information on 'nighta' (night skiing) to each of the resort specific info areas below. I find it amazing - and really frustrating - just how difficult it is to find some of this basic information. And I can read Japanese! They don't make it easy, I can tell you! I will adjust the information in the next few days to make it clearer after confirming details with each resort.
