A definite spring day today...birds chirping, water dripping, snow sliding from roofs and rain falling through the night with above zero temperatures in the valley all night and the temperature in Echoland right now is nearing 9 degrees. Last nights precipitation begun as rain even at altitude but turned to snow from 1000/1500m and Alps Daira in Goryu had around 10cms of fresh snow...obviously this snow will be better the higher you go.

Partially cloudy today with a lot of blue patches poking through...the rain would have left the runs a bit hammered and even yesterday near the top of Happo runs were getting slushy so we can expect much the same today.

Light North-westerlies today. The forecast is still for the temperature to drop overnight and bring snow as a cold front moves over us. We are all hoping it does so!

AVALANCHE WARNING:

Expect loose slides on all solar radiated aspects. PAY EXTREME CAUTION AND WATCH OUT CROSSING RUN OUT ZONES!
