There has been a light sprinkle of super dry powder this morning and the Goryu resort is reporting 3cm of new snow on top and 1-3cm at the base.

Winds are still coming from the West but have died down a fair bit though still blowing around 10m/s at 2,500m below 2,000m just light Westerlies. Currently -1.5 in the village and -5 at 1400m decreasing to -10 at 2000m.

Snow is falling lightly as I write this report and the forecast is for that to continue through today, possibly clearing tomorrow and picking up again tomorrow night.

All in all, great conditions for the weekend with consistent cold temperatures and light snow filling things in regularly.... plenty to enjoy before the next large snowfall!

The slopes should be busier today and tomorrow of course, but looking around this morning things don't seem too bad at all in terms of crowds.
