Good morning from Hakuba.

Windy conditions yesterday morning which was affecting some lifts and making others busier than usual, but the skies were a mix of blue sky, sunshine and cloud.

There were lots of people around to enjoy their weekend in Hakuba.

There's no fresh snow being reported by resorts this morning. A bank of cloud around the mountains, but a lot of blue sky and the sun is out.

It's a really cold start to the day though and there is less wind, so the thought of the snow conditions this morning is very tempting.

It should be a very fine day.
