Visibility didn't improve much yesterday really, with thick soup like fog engulfing many resort areas until later on in the afternoon though in places a few rays of sunshine tried to break through it all. Not with much success though.

The only new snow being reported by resorts this morning is 1cm on the Riesen part of Happo-one, other than that it's no fresh to report.

It's much clearer this morning though and you can actually see things in front of you - and off into the distance as well! An overcast but bright feel to the morning so far with some blue sky appearing at times and the sun shining down in places. It feels like it will clear up.

Temperatures down to minus 11 in the village overnight and at 9am this morning around -7. A high of around -1C is forecast for the early afternoon. Just a light breeze.

Still looking good for snowfall tonight. Some forecasts labelling it as 'heavy'. Fingers crossed I can report that tomorrow.

In the meantime have a great day.
