Those clear blue skies didn't last the full day yesterday. It was still lovely and clear at lunchtime, rising to about 10 degrees, but then quite quickly clouds moved in mid afternoon, it got colder, and we even got a bit of snow falling on the mountain. Hurray! (Rain lower down. Booo!)

Didn't really amount to any new numbers to report though, more a thin dusting. Oh actually Hakuba 47 reporting 1cm.

Wind messed around with some lifts as well yesterday. Not good on any day of course, but very disappointing to all of those coming for the weekend.

The clouds have cleared up again this morning and we have another spring morning of clear blue sky. It was -4 degrees when I got up around 6am and now around +2c.

Tomorrow looks like rain, it's going to be a wet one if all the forecasts are correct and with the freezing level rising to over 3000m it'll be raining on the mountains too. We can just hope that damage is limited, with clearer conditions forecast for Tuesday.
