Good morning from Hakuba.

I'm a little late this morning - I have been busy checking information to put into this report. There is a lot happening this morning and I think I have most of it covered. No fresh snow to report, so the news is all about resort openings and more terrain being available. Here's the headlines:

From today the Hakuba Cortina, Kashimayari and Sanosaka resorts open for the first time this season.

It looks like you can now ride back down to base at Happo-one via Riesen, with some other lower slopes now open (though not connected with the upper slopes).

There are more ski lifts moving at Hakuba Goryu and most of their courses are now available.

And a much larger part of Tsugaike Kogen is also open this morning.

---

It was a beautiful day yesterday with some cloud creeping in over the afternoon.

This morning there's a bit of sunshine coming through the clouds but the clouds seem set to win the day - fresh snow is due tonight and tomorrow.

And regularly over the coming week.

Excited!
