Good morning everyone, this morning we have overcast skies and slight snowfall as the sun rose. The clouds should lift mid day increasing visibility on the slopes. Yesterday we saw a delightful blanket of new snow that made for silky groomer runs.

The valley accumulated 5cm of new snow since yesterday with a low temperature of -6.5 C. It is expected to warm to 1C as the weather clears throughout the day today. Up on the slopes it is expected to range from -3 C to -7 C with a wind chill making it feel like upto -12 C. The freezing level remains low and will only rise to 250 m.
There are light breezes from the W and WNW at 3 m/s throughout the day.

The resorts have recorded between 10 cm and 40 cm of new snowfall since yesterday and are expecting trace new throughout the day. There is currently variable visibility up on the slopes, but that should clear up as the day progresses.

Sunday is expecting some clouds and slight snow showers before clearing up into the beginning of the next week.

15cm of new snowfall on the upper slopes and 5cm on lower slopes this morning. All lifts operating.

Hakuba 47 reporting 15cm of fresh snow this morning. All lifts operating.
