Morning from Hakuba, and not the best of weather to report. Light rain it is along with a mild feeling temperature of around 6C. It doesn't look like it should warm up much more than that later in the day though. Visibility out on the resorts looks fair on the lower slopes and less good up high.

We should see nicer conditions tomorrow with the sun forecast to be out and doing it's thing and warming things up to a high of around 12C in the afternoon... and then more of the same through the weekend really.

It's worth noting that at all 4 resorts that remain part open, you can still ski or board top to bottom. Goryu have announced that the Toomi Sky Four lift will be open again for the coming weekend (14th/15th). More details for each resort are noted below.

Official snow depths and operations @ Wednesday 11th April 2012 AM:

Hakuba Goryu:
Gondola and Alps daira No1 and No3 lifts operating. The Toomi lifts are now closed but you can still ski down the courses. Toomi Ski Four lift plans to re-open for Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th April.
Official snow depths:
Alps daira - 265cm;
Toomi - 125cm

Hakuba 47:
Top to bottom skiable. All lifts apart from Line D operating.
Official snow depth:
Upper - 233cm
Lower - 145m

Happo-one:
Top to bottom skiable (via Riesen course to Gondola base station).
Lifts normally operating daily for spring are:
Gondola
Grat quad
Alpen quad
Panorama pair
Skyline No2 pair
Kurobishi No2 quad.
Other lifts:
Nakiyama No3 pair, Riesen quad and Kokusai No3 pair lifts will be open on 14th and 15th April.
Usagidaira pair will be open on 14th and 15th April and then from 28th April until 6th May.
Kurobishi No3 pair lift will be open on 21st and 22nd April and also from 28th April until 6th May.
Official snow depth:
Usagidaira - 210cm;
Sakka - 80cm;
Nakiyama - 80cm.

Tsugaike Kogen:
Top to bottom skiable. Planned lifts operating are Ropeway, Gondola, Tsuga No2 pair lift and the Hannoki pair.
Official snow depth:
Upper slopes - 310cm
Lower - 130cm

Planned ski resort closings in Hakuba and Otari, all subject to change:

Hakuba Goryu:
Upper area hopefully open until 6th May. (Toomi Sky Four lift will re-open 14th/15th April).

Hakuba 47:
47 plants to be open until 6th May.

Happo-one:
Upper slopes plan to be open until 6th May.

Tsugaike Kogen:
Plans to be open until Golden Week

The Hakuba Cortina, Norikura, Iwatake, Sanosaka and Minekata resorts are all now closed for the season.
