Not the 50cms of fresh we were hoping for but some pow is better than none - about 10cms of snow on the car this morning. It wasn't falling much through yesterday but on my way home at 4 this morning some decent flakes were coming down and the snow is real light powder. Goryu reported 10cms of new snow up top this morning also with temperatures of only -2...about what it is now in the valley; not the coldest morning. Base depth for the lower slopes has not been updated yet so remains the same as yesterday.

Winds are blowing here though - the North-Westerlies that have been predominant are blowing in the valley and we're seeing 15/20 m/s winds at 2000m which could affect Gondola's possibly - it might be worth a call to the resorts to see how things are looking before choosing your destination today...that said Goryu were only reporting winds of 7 m/s this morning so maybe the resorts aren't copping it too bad.
