Morning from Hakuba.

And it's not a particularly nice one unfortunately... it's raining.

A contrast to the lovely weather conditions that we enjoyed yesterday, and hopefully to what we will be able to enjoy tomorrow too.

That lower Toomi course at Hakuba Goryu was really doing well to keep open as long as it did, but alas, it couldn't make it to the end of the season... it's now closed as there's just not enough snow left. So you need to use the Gondola to get back down from the open upper slopes at the end of your day.

Tomorrow is the last day of the official ski season here in Hakuba. I'm happy to report that sunny fine weather conditions are lined up there on the forecast so it should be a good end to the season.

Day by day you can see how the snow is melting away. Always find it fascinating to see how that progresses by looking at the webcams in late spring. Kind of sad, but it has been a long season.

It will be my last report tomorrow, perhaps later in the day than usual.

Enjoy the weekend.
