Although we havent have any significant amounts of fresh snow for a few days the course conditions are great for this time of year. Looking up at the Kitanomine side of the mountain yesterday, it certainly looked pretty quiet, signifiying that many of the domestic vistiors that were here for the New Year period have departed.

Last evening we had a brief snow event that didnt last long, but blanketed the uppper village with a nice dusting of snow. These dustings at village level may not seem significant, but they will be a few centimetres on the resort itself and help keep the snow conditions fresh.

Right now it is high overcast with no sun breaking through, but some sunlight may come through later in the morning. Visibility is very good, and all lifts and courses are expected to be operating.
