A Merry Christmas to all of you out there reading this on the internet, and to all of you out there enjoying all this winter weather! It's been snowing steadily since around 9 o'clock this morning, and it doesn't show any signs of letting up any time soon.

What's on the menu for Christmas in Furano this year? Powder, powder, and more powder. There's almost 10cm of fresh white since the sun came up, and it just keeps coming down. A lot of us are spending time with family and loved ones, but for those of you who really enjoy grabbing freshies, you might want to think about spending time with loved ones ON THE MOUNTAIN. It's not to cold outside at a mild -5, and with all that snow coming down, it's like someone's wrapped a warm, white blanket around your shoulders. Winds are light out of the NNE, and may they continue to bring those beautiful Christmas flakes right to our door.

Santa was up on the mountain yesterday handing out kids to presents, and rumor has it he is up to his old tricks again today. If you are a kid and you spy a man in a flashy red suit, be sure to shout out SANTA, and you may end up with a nice little something to take home with you.

Staff have also been operating a "Sunkid" ski-lift machine for children, targeted towards beginnners, so be sure to check that out if you have young ones and are in front of the Gondola Station in Kitanomine Zone.

The weather looks to continue in this fashion on through the evening and into tomorrow. Next week's skiing and snowboarding are looking absolutely fantastic.
