It's been snowing like banshees since last night, and we've probably seen at least 15cm+ of fresh, white powder. Unfortunately, a stiff wind has been blowing all that freshly fallen snow around and piling it up in leeward places. Plenty of treasure troves out there, but at the same time some places look like they've seen no new snow at all. The storm is expected to continue through the night, so let's hope the winds die down a bit so everything gets evened out. For now, the town is digging out in preparation for Monday.

In other news, the resort has raised the official snow depth to 170cm! That's a 20cm jump, and it's definitely a lot deeper where the wind can't cut in.

Temperatures are decidedly warm at -1. That's tropical compared to yesterday's -15 at the same time. Strong southerly winds are currently blowing all that moisture-laden air along with the warmer temperatures. Expect similar conditions through the night, but the winds should switch to a colder, more northerly direction by daybreak.
